A tenth wicket stand by Treeton's last pair of batsmen for some 9 overs denied Bayfield a well deserved victory in their second match in two days. Winning the toss and batting, Bayfield amassed a creditable total of 183, which they had to defend with only three bowlers. Another 5 wicket haul for Gary Brashaw meant that Treeton were never likely to reach their target, and Treeton's last wicket resistance deprived Bayfield of their second 5 points of the weekend.
