Despite disagreement between opening bowler and captain for the day on the merits of batting when we won the toss, we did in fact field on a very hot afternoon. Despite a quality performance from Simon France in taking 7 wickets on his return to Bayfield action Little Matlock ended their innings on 160. After a solid start, apart from Mr Kenny, unfortunately a collapse of Bayfield proportions left us leaving the field, those who were still there, on 100 all out and a second defeat of the season. Next up..........a double header away at Totley and Shardlows......can't wait. Congrats to Nige on his second decent score in two games, pity you didn't quite get the 50. Oh yes.....what happened to rotating the bowling?
