With illness for the captain and a slightly altered team, the correct decision was made by stand in skipper, well done, and Totley put in to bat. Only a couple of their players were rewcognisable from the shower we seem to have played in the last couple of years. A solid 49 from Gary and good contributions from Chris Brookes and 'Butts' were not enough especially with the familiar collapse at the end of the innings from us. We had done well to keep Totley to 158 with a well deserved 7 wickets from the emerging Chris Jones. 2 catches from Mr Hanstock stunned watching team-mates as we did put on one of our better fielding displays for dome time. A match we could and should have won with a bit more application and luck. Who to slag off?.....well an opening bowler with the one wicket and a first ball duck (never out) hardly is a major contribution............
