Ah yes, the annual game at HSBC, the worst teas in the league (if not the universe). No bread, no salad cream, no cake afterwards, no biscuits, not enough tea to drink, no crisps, no way I'm EVER having one again. Incidentally, as far as the match went, Bayfield won the toss and put HSBC in on another pudding of a wicket. Steady bowling throughtout, with another good haul of wickets for Kevin Brashaw, meant that Bayfield were set a target of 128 off their 44 overs. Pedestrian probably does not do justice to Nigel Oakes' at times tedious 32 runs from some 40 odd overs, but some able hitting from Paul Kenny in particular saw Bayfield home in the last over with five wickets in hand.
